Florian Klimscha

Florian Klimscha is a partner of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer’s Vienna office. Florian specialises in banking law, financing transactions and advises clients in restructuring matters.

Florian is recognised as a key specialist for international and domestic banking transactions and has a well-regarded restructuring practice. He has been involved in some of the largest restructurings in the market acting for both creditors and debtors. He also has significant experience in dealing with NPL as well as sub performing loan transactions (both portfolios as well as differently structured trades) in Austria and CEE.

Before joining Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, he worked in the legal department of the Austrian Financial Market Authority (FMA). He completed his legal education at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LLM) and the University of Vienna (Dr iur).
