Jovica Jakovac

Mr. Jakovac has over 25 years of experience in corporate and government environments with expertise in real estate, project and asset management, finance and negotiations, operations and staff management (USA and SE Europe).

In 2015 he joined NLB Bank as Group Real Estate Management Director and currently lives and operates from Ljubljana, Slovenia.

Mr. Jakovac is also a Chairman of Supervisory Board at NLB Serbia and Member of Supervisory Board at NLB Montenegro since 2015 and Director of S-REAM company in Ljubljana.

During 2019 and 2020 Mr. Jakovac successful participated in acquisition of Komercialna Banka in Serbia.

As a Managing Director in Colliers International in Serbia (2005-2010), Mr. Jakovac was in charge of operations, finance and staff management. In 2007, he was voted as Colliers Int.’ SEE manager of the year. Mr. Jakovac was involved in all major transactions done by Colliers on SEE markets.

While introducing a new business services to the Serbian and Slovenian real estate market, he was many times panelist at Expo Real in Munich, MIPIM at Cannes, Real Vienna and many real estate conferences in Serbia and Slovenia, actively representing Serbian and Slovenian market and promoting investments in SEE.

Mr. Jakovac founded Solidity Real Estate in 2010 which he operated until the end of 2014.

From 2013 until moving to Ljubljana in 2015, he has served as Board Member of Trustees and Steering Committee at 400 million euro Project Implementation Unit in Serbia.

Mr. Jakovac gained his formal education at Temple University (Political science and political Economy) in Philadelphia, PA, USA and Real Estate valuation and financing at SDA Bocconi, Milano Italy.
