Milena Milosavljević

Milena Milosavljevic, has been building her career in Germany for the last five years on the topics of ESG regulatory requirements, Green and Renewable energy finance and overall sustainability, in the finance sector.

Milena has finished her Bachelor and Master studies at the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Electrical Engineering with the particular focus on renewable energy. She started career in Serbia in 2012, working for the large energy companies on the topics such as energy efficiency, and automatization.

In 2015, she joined the green team in ProCredit bank Serbia, where she worked on multiple renewable energy and green buildings projects, contributing significantly to the growth of the bank’s green portfolio. Her local work included financing one of the first biogas power plants, the first solar power plants for self-consumption, and the introduction of the first contract for electricity with renewable energy guarantees of origin.

In 2019, she joined ProCredit HQ in Frankfurt, and continued supporting group efforts on financing sustainable initiatives following highest EU norms. Milena has worked on multiple large Renewable energy projects (such as energy communities in Greece of 100 MW, group own solar power plant in Kosovo etc) or larger credit lines with EBRD and EIB, while building the technical green finance standards, implementing EU taxonomy requirements and similar initiatives at the grup level.

In 2022 she decided to move her career in one of the largest ESG research companies as a Team Lead for EU Action Plan products. Currently, she works on ESG transactions and EMEA ESG regulatory requirements for one the world largest banks. Milena is an author of the Serbian platform: solarnikalkulator.rs which is developed by GIZ Serbia.
