Aleksandar Zarić

Aleksandar Zarić is Business Environment Director with the USAID Cooperation for Growth Project in Serbia. Aleksandar leads the Project’s efforts to facilitate improvements that have the greatest potential impact on increasing overall predictability and stability of the business environment and private sector investment and growth.

During his previous assignments, under USAID Rule of Law Project and USAID Business Enabling Project in Serbia, Aleksandar lead the policy efforts to support improvements of the system for enforcement of judgments, ensuring the timeliness and integrity of enforcement actions and increasing efficiency of enforcement procedures.

Aleksandar is an expert lawyer and MBA holder, with a strong proficiency in the field of financial markets. Before joining the “world of international development”, Aleksandar has served as the Head of Legal and Compliance Department for the Balkans region at the KBC Securities, part of the KBC Group, and gained thorough understanding of the financial and business sectors in Serbia and neighboring countries (Montenegro, Macedonia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina).
