Mia Zečević is the owner and CEO of the Novaston platform – a unique business ecosystem specializing in real estate, asset management, project development and construction, as well as marketing and consulting. The platform includes Novaston Asset Management, Novaston Project Management, and Novaston Marketing Consultancy, and operates in both Serbia and Croatia. In addition to development, property management and consulting, Novaston is actively engaged in the in construction of projects in the commercial and residential sectors, offering expertise throughout all stages – from strategic planning to execution and commercialization.
Mia began her career at Western Union, followed by a role as a financial analyst for domestic and international markets at M&V Investments. As Project Manager at MK Mountain Resort (part of MK Group), she managed 48,000 m² of hotel space on Kopaonik, focusing on strategy, organizational development, and commercialization both locally and internationally. She also served as Head of Marketing, Sales, and Commercialization at UŠĆE Shopping Center, which at the time was the largest shopping center in Serbia.
With over 20 years of experience in the real estate sector, Mia has grown Novaston into a regional market leader. The companies within the Novaston platform have managed and continue to manage over 500,000 m² of various types of real estate throughout Serbia and the wider region. Over the past decade, the Novaston team has built strong partnerships with leading international real estate funds and investors, including IKEA Serbia, Immofinanz – CPI Property Group, Nepi Rockcastle, BIG CEE, GTC, Schneider Electric, and others. Mia holds a degree in International Economics and Management from Bocconi University in Milan and earned her Master’s in Business Administration from Cass Business School in London.
