Slavica has a Bachelor of Economics degree with over 25 years of experience in various fields of banking, ranging from the development of retail products, granting mortgage loans and collecting retail claims, to the management of risks and capital. She has worked in risk for over 17 years, from the beginning of this field’s development in Serbia, through the development and implementation of credit policies, the implementation of credit risk models, the processes of internal capital adequacy assessment, value adjustment methodology, credit risk stress testing, monitoring and analysing portfolios, regulatory reporting and the implementation of Basel standards. Throughout her career, she has participated in several successfully implemented projects in the fields of value adjustment, database development, core banking system migration, collateral management and the implementation of Basel standards, as well as in two due diligence projects.
She joined the Association of Serbian Banks’s team in 2018, as a Risk Management Advisor. She coordinates the work of the ASB Risk and Capital Management Committee and the working groups set up by the Committee. At the ASB, she led the technical implementation of the Default Database at the banking sector level.
She organises annual Bank FinIng conferences for risk managers, which cover current topics in the field of risk and capital management.
