Savo Jakovljević is an experienced central banking professional with over 20 years at the National Bank of Serbia, where he currently holds the position of General Manager of the Economic Research and Statistics Department. He oversees the development of macroeconomic projections, contributes to monetary policy design, and works closely with government institutions, international organizations, and financial market participants. His extensive background spans FX markets, financial derivatives, and portfolio management, supported by a series of senior roles within the Monetary Operations Department. Savo holds a Master’s degree in Finance, Banking and Insurance from the Faculty of Economics University of Belgrade and is fluent in English.
