David is the Chief Risk and Compliance Officer at Advance Global Capital (AGC), a London based Impact fund manager focused on supporting women-owned SMEs across emerging markets.
He has more than 10 years of experience in assessing and managing trade finance and working capital funding across 66 countries. His knowledge of diverse legal systems, credit markets and macroeconomic conditions across various jurisdictions, both developed and emerging, gives him a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities across global credit and trade finance markets.
Prior to AGC he was employed at a leading factoring-focused non-bank financial institution in Macedonia where he was responsible for credit rating models, procedures, and policies for monitoring and managing credit risk at the institutional level. He holds a master’s degree in finance from the IE Business School in Madrid, a bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting from Sheffield University and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
