Ilija Protić

Ilija has over 20 years of professional experience in various areas of investment management – brokerage, investment banking, portfolio management, ALM and treasury operations. Since 2001, he has gained experience working in renowned financial institutions (brokerage firms, banks, investment fund management companies) where he has held positions at various organizational levels, including top management.
In 2000, Ilija graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Belgrade, majoring in banking, finance, and insurance. He has furthered his professional development and holds licenses from the Serbian SEC (broker, investment advisor, and portfolio manager).
He is also a CFA charterholder, a member of the CFA Institute, and one of the 54 founding members of the CFA Society in Serbia. Since 2023, he has also been serving as a member of the Board of Directors of the CFA Society Serbia.
