Ivor Jelavić is financial professional with over 16 years of experience in corporate finance in banking and private sector. Through his whole career he was mostly working closely with micro and SME sector which gave him insights on structuring the best models to help said companies.

In the beginning of Y2023 Ivor became Board president of a consulting company Escont partners LLC. Main focus of the company is how to help micro and SME who have excellent projects and business but need capital to see them through. Goal is to help companies in mentioned sector through finding right business partners, either private investors, VC funds or Banks. And as well try to help from within companies with consulting on their business and financial models. One of the significant achievements is the impact on the growth of the capital market in Croatia through capital raising via the issuance of corporate bonds for SME clients.

Since the beginning of this year, Ivor, together with his partners, has been responsible for establishing the Finspot project and launching the company in Croatia. Finspot is fully digitalised platform for invoice financing which is first licensed and regulated platform by HANFA (Croatian Financial Services Supervisory Agency) on Croatian market. Ivor is responsible for sales and business development, and he believes that Finspot is the future, and will change how clients perceive not only invoice financing in Croatia as financing model, but how we approach the speed of transaction processing and the opportunities offered by digitalization in the financial industry.
